We look into Oxydrene Elite to find out more about this supplement.
Novex Biotech Oxydrene Elite is a supplement that is supposed to boost your exercise performance and according to many customers, it works!
However, we have serious concerns. The company have misled customers about the clinical evidence and despite the claims, that the supplement has been tested and is proven to work, we can find no record anywhere of this supposed clinical trial. Extremely tricksy behaviour from a company that supplies supplements to major stores such as GNC and the Vitamin Shoppe.
Even worse, all these businesses have quoted the non existent clinical trial in their advertising which is very misleading.
What Novex Biotech Oxydrene Elite actually contains is a range of herbal ingredients often taken as adaptogens – meaning they provide a general boost to feelings of wellbeing and energy. We think it is unlikely that it will deliver enhanced oxygen but the stimulant effect will probably help you improve your exercise performance.
Will this cause you to be disqualified for doping? The product information warns about this, but it could all just be part of the advertising.
Potential side effects may include increased heart rate, headaches, mood swings, muscle spasms, and anxiety.
The best deal we have seen is on Amazon USA.
1 x bottle of 120 capsules costs $35.44 and includes free shipping to US addresses. International shipping is also available.
We like that customers are generally happy and if you buy Oxydrene Elite via Amazon the price is not too bad but we are less than impressed with this supplement.
In our opinion, inventing clinical findings is extremely misleading for the customer so this makes it hard to trust this company. The bottom line is that despite the positive customer feedback we have no other option but to reject Oxydrene Elite.
NovexBiotech Oxydrene Elite is a pre workout supplement that is very much aimed at athletes because it is all about improving your performance rather than achieving weight loss.
The idea is that you take it before your workout or run so that you “maximise aerobic power”. It may also help with recovery after exercise.
This supplement claims to increase your VO2 Max – the measurement of your body’s ability to consume oxygen and the best way to measure cardiovascular power and aerobic fitness.
VO2 is the maximum volume of oxygen that you can use and it is measured in units of mls of oxygen per kilogram of body weight, per minute.
In simple terms, the more oxygen your body can take in, the higher your levels of fitness and endurance and the better your performance.
It is important to bear in mind that supplements that increase VO2 and the delivery and uptake of oxygen are banned by the International Olympic Committee and the World Doping Agency.
As a pre-workout supplement, take 2 capsules 1 hour before exercise. Always take with a full glass of water.
If you are a competitive athlete, you need to be aware that Oxydrene Elite may be banned by some sporting authorities so you will need to check with your trainer and the governing bodies of your sport before use.
Oxydrene Elite contains a proprietary blend called Crenulin RCC2, which is made up of herbal extracts and natural stimulants. These include Rhodiola Rosea, Cordyceps – a mushroom extract and Eleuthero also known as Siberian Ginseng, which is often taken for depression.
Other parts of the formula include Schisandra Chinensis extract, Gingko Biloba Coenzyme Q10 and amino acid L Arginine. We will look into the precise blend later in the review but all ingredients are well known in the supplements industry and believed to have stimulant and powerful effects. Many of the ingredients in this supplement are adaptogens, which means they have a general positive effect upon energy, mood and wellbeing.
Oxydrene Elite also contains B vitamins, so these will benefit general health.
Oxydrene Elite comes from NovexBiotech an established supplements company based in Salt Lake City Utah.
According to their general information, all supplements have been tested on humans and approved by athlete. All NovexBiotech supplements seem to fall into the athlete / bodybuilding niche. Novex Biotech supplements are on sale from a range of reputable outlets such as GNC, Vitamin Shoppe and more. You can also buy direct from the official NovexBiotech website.
According to the product information, this supplement is a “deep tissue oxygenator” that works in three key ways:
According to the product information, the proprietary blend Crenulin-RCC2 has undergone clinical testing and results were positive. There are claims that this formula has helped participants increase exercise endurance when taken an hour before exercise.
According to the advertising, the clinical test saw participants increase oxygen consumption and reach a higher VO2 Max and in a separate study looking into recovery after exercise, it decreased muscle damage.
Worryingly, we cannot find any record of these so-called clinical tests. There is zero information about any clinical evidence so if this formula was ever tested, it obviously was not undertaken following any scientific guidelines. Neither was it reported.
This makes the whole concept of Crenulin RCC2 and this supplement look a bit dodgy.
Oxydrene Elite is a supplement that may help improve your exercise performance. Crenulin RCC2 is a proprietary blend that is supposed to have undergone clinical testing but we can find no evidence.
Each serving is equal to 2 capsules.
Crenulin RCC2 Proprietary Blend (255mg): The formula contains the following ingredients:
Oxydrene Elite contains the following B vitamins.
The RDA for Niacin is just 16mg per day so you may find that this high serving causes side effects including:
Many of the ingredients in Crenulin RCC2 are known as adaptogens meaning that they have a general positive effect upon health and wellbeing.
However, they are also known to cause side effects. Customers have not mentioned much about side effects which is good news but potential side effects may include:
Caution:
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Consult your physician if you are taking prescription medications.
The product information also provides the following advice:
NOTE: If you are an athlete competing under International Olympic Committee (IOC) or World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) rules, it should be noted that the IOC and WADA have banned any substance that artificially enhances the uptake, transport, or delivery of oxygen. Because this ban might include Oxydrene Elite (due to its ability to increase oxygen uptake at peak exercise levels), competitive athletes should check with their trainers and governing bodies before using Oxydrene Elite in organized athletic competition.
There is a lot of positive feedback for Oxydrene Elite. Many customers feel that this supplement has boosted their performance and endurance levels and helped their breathing too. Many feedback comments have been left by runners.
This customer reported,
I used this when I was training for a marathon. Ran 2- 20 mile races and was able to go without stopping. It didn’t dawn on me that this product was really helping with my breathing and therefore helping me to run longer and stronger. I ran out of the product before the marathon and that’s when I realized it really worked. I struggled…
Another runner who used it was equally satisfied,
It does seem to give me an edge, especially when it comes to endurance training or races
This customer used it for his treadmill workout in the gym,
Took two an hour before going to the gym, and within 45 minutes I could notice how much better my breathing was. Jumped on the treadmill, and had to kick it up a notch, since I had a meeting to get to soon. There was a NOTICABLE stamina improvement. Wasn’t breathing nearly as hard as normal
Other comments include,
Works great
I love this stuff. I notice such a difference when I take this vs. when I do not….
And,
You know this $***’s gonna be good when the label has a disclaimer that states you’ll get busted for doping if you use this in a professional sport. So far so good in my experience, I stacked it with the Novex PRIME pre-workout powder and I felt unstoppable.
There really is no evidence why this supplement should work like this, but most customers are obviously pleased so it is obviously working. The comments look to be left by genuine customers.

Began experiencing muscle twitching in my left upper and lower arm to the point it was every 10 seconds day and night. Went to a neurologist and he determined my Vitamin B6 was extremely elevated and told me to look at any supplements I was taking. When I got home I looked at the Oxydrene and discovered it contains 10 mg of Vitamin B6. I reported this back to the neurologist and he told me to stop taking it immediately. He further stated it would take a few months to get this out of my system. I experienced a subtle reduction of the twitching over the following 12 weeks and It totally stopped. Shame on me I tried to finish out the remaining half of the bottle and I started getting the twitch again after about 3 weeks. I stopped and will not use the product again, but that’s just me, maybe it works well for others, I just wanted to share this in case someone else is experiencing what I did, it takes a while to get it out of your system as I mentioned.
