Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified

What You Need To Know About Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified

Muscle Rush Amplified is a powdered orange flavoured supplement that you add to water and drink. It contains ingredients that should increase nitric oxide levels, and so may help improve exercise performance and recovery. There is some caffeine and dextrose too so this combination could have a temporary energy boosting effect that should see you through your workout.

Less good is that although this supplement contains protein, the type is not mentioned on the ingredients list and the fact that Muscle Rush Amplified names Fructose as one of the principle components of this supplement is a concern. There is nothing healthy about Muscle Rush Amplified but if this doesn’t bother you, it may be worth a try.

What Are The Side Effects Of Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified?

Potential side effects may include stomach cramps, diarrhoea or other bowel disturbances, nausea, muscle cramps, low blood pressure abdominal pain, dizziness or light-headedness, and bloating.

If you are sensitive to caffeine you may experience jitteriness, insomnia, and anxiety.

Beta Alanine is known to cause a short-lived tingling sensation in some users. Creatine can cause the body to become dehydrated so it is important to drink plenty of water while using.

How Much Does Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Cost?

Muscle Rush Amplified is expensive for a pre-workout supplement. 1 x tub of 30 servings (600g) costs £39.99. A range of payment options is available including PayPal, Amazon Payments, and bank or credit card.

Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout.

Our Verdict On Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified

We really liked Muscle Rush Amplified at first. We like that this pre-workout supplement does not contain stimulants apart from caffeine and that the ingredients will probably increase nitric oxide levels, even though the serving sizes are generally on the low side.

However, we are less impressed by the massive gaps in the product information such as the source of the protein and also by the high level of fructose contained in this supplement. These two points spoil the good impression and the fact that this supplement does not seem very popular, reinforces this negative opinion.

Muscle Rush Amplified is very expensive and in our opinion, most people will simply turn to an energy drink or a cheaper pre-workout supplement as an alternative. We can’t say we blame them!

Overall, we do not recommend Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified to our readers.

Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Review

Muscle Rush Amplified is a pre-workout powder that you add to water in order to make a drink. It is only available in orange flavour at the time of writing, but it seems likely that new flavours may be added in time.

Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Facts

  • Orange flavoured pre-workout drink
  • Each tub contains 30 servings
  • Fructose is a principle ingredient

The supplement contains a blend of amino acids plus beetroot extract and caffeine, all of which come with evidence for increasing energy performance and muscle building.

Other ingredients include beta Alanine, Creatine, citrulline malate, dextrose, and amino acids l tyrosine glycine and taurine, which all sounds good. Less good is that this supplement contains 9.2g of protein per serving, the source of many of these amino acids (the building blocks of protein) yet the type of protein used is not actually disclosed.

We have searched through the product information, and it could be that the protein is based on maize because Fructose is a principle ingredient (corn sugar). However, it is very surprising that this basic information is not disclosed and not very impressive.

How to Take Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified

Add two level scoops with 150-200ml water and either blend in a blender or shake in a shaker bottle for 5-10 seconds.

Many of the components may help improve nitric oxide levels in the body, and so improve stamina and pumps. The addition of caffeine at 200mg per serving is equal to a couple of cups of coffee, so should keep you motivated and energetic, at least at the start of your workout, and overall the formula looks pretty safe and effective although high in sugar! Check out the ingredients tab to find out more.

Muscle Rush Amplified is sold as a pre-workout supplement that is suitable for all users, whether seasoned bodybuilders or those who are new to supplements.

Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Concerns:

  • Inadequate ingredients profile. This will not help you if you are trying to avoid a certain type of protein such as whey or soy
  • Why is this supplement so high in sugars like fructose when all the health advice is to avoid it?
  • May lower blood pressure. Check with your doctor before use if you suffer from low blood pressure. This was not made clear in the product information

Does Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Work?

Yes, we think it will probably work to an extent. Many of the ingredients contained in Muscle Rush Amplified help the body produce nitric oxide. This molecule is produced by every cell in the body and is very important for health, including heart health as well as support for medical conditions such as heart failure or erectile dysfunction.

Nitric oxide relaxes the blood vessels, causing them to widen and improve blood flow making it important as a support for exercise and recovery. It can improve exercise performance because wider blood vessels deliver increased oxygen and nutrients to muscles in order to keep them working.

The ingredients in Muscle Rush Amplified are known to increase nitric oxide such as Beta Alanine, L Citrulline Malate, Creatine, and Beetroot. There is some caffeine to increase energy levels and dextrose to keep glucose levels high, which you may want because this is depleted by exercise.

This supplement may have a good temporary effect on your gym performance, but we do have concerns over the very high fructose content which can raise blood pressure and increase cholesterol.

We are also concerned about the protein content which is not actually revealed but according to the product information, makes up a quarter of the blend.

What Are The Ingredients of Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified?

Serving size is equal to 20g (two scoops of powder).

  • Fructose: Fructose is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) derived from sugar cane, sugar beet, and maize commercially. It is very sweet and very cheap to produce so it shows up in countless processed foods as flavouring. This is not something usually contained in a so-called health supplement. Quantities not provided here, but overall the sugar content adds up to 7.76g per serving which is extremely high.
  • L-Arginine HCL (2g): L arginine is an amino acid that helps the body produce nitric oxide, a natural chemical in the body that regulates blood flow by causing the blood vessels to dilate. It is sometimes used to treat congestive heart failure and erectile dysfunction because it improves blood flow to organs. Many people take it to boost stamina.
  • Creatine Monohydrate (2g): Creatine is a natural substance in the body and its role is to supply energy to cells, especially muscle cells, whenever it is needed. Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid meaning that it can help with blood supply to organs so it has numerous functions. There is some evidence it can help brain function but it is used most commonly as a support for training and recovery, building muscle, and increasing strength. Serving size is low here compared to similar supplements which usually contain at least 3g per serving.
  • Citrulline Malate 2:1 (2g): Compound that contains two parts L-citrulline with one part malic acid. L Citrulline is an amino acid made in the body where it is changed to arginine and also nitric oxide so it improves blood flow. Malic acid is an organic compound in fruit that is important in the body for converting food to energy. Serving size here is low.
  • Beta Alanine (1.6g): Beta Alanine is a modified version of the amino acid Alanine, which in turn is an amino acid (protein building block) of carnosine. Carnosine is concentrated in the muscles although it is also found in other parts of the body including heart and brain. There is strong evidence that improving carnosine levels via supplement use can help improve athletic performance and endurance. Causes a tingling sensation.
  • D-Ribose (1.5g): Type of natural sugar made in the body which provides energy for cells and may help improve exercise performance. May lower blood sugar levels.
  • Dextrose: Also known as glucose is a simple carbohydrate and the principle source of energy in the body. Glucose is present in all living organisms; in plant forms, it is known as starch, in animals, glucose. Dextrose is usually processed from corn and is chemically identical to human blood sugar (glucose). It is classified as a simple sugar and can raise blood glucose levels very fast. Quantities unknown. Source
  • L-Glycine (1g): Amino acid involved with the transmission of chemical messengers in the brain, but scientists have yet to establish its potential as a supplement.
  • L-Taurine (1g): Best known as an ingredient of energy drinks, Taurine is present in the body in brain, eyes, blood, and heart, as well as derived from dietary protein, especially red meat and fish. In supplement form, Taurine may help boost some types of exercise performance where endurance is required such as long distance cycling.
  • L-Tyrosine (1g): Amino acid made in the body that helps the body convert fat into energy, as well as being important for mental functioning. It can boost alertness.
  • Beetroot extract 4:1(250mg): Beetroot is high in nitrates which convert to nitric oxide in the body and all the evidence for getting more beetroot into your diet is good. According to the NHS, eating beetroot can cause a modest reduction in blood pressure. And research carried out in 2013 found that a modest improvement in stamina and exercise performance was noted following drinking beetroot juice.
  • Natural Caffeine (200mg): Most diet supplements contain caffeine and it is ideal for giving you a quick energy boost. It can increase the speed of the metabolism and help fat burning, but the effects are often short-lived as you become accustomed to using it. An average cup of instant coffee contains around 90mg of caffeine.

Natural Muscle Amplified also contains natural colours and flavourings, and Stevia as a sweetener.

Each serving contains 77 calories.

The rest of the nutritional breakdown is as follows:

  • Fat 0.28g (of which saturates 0.25g)
  • Protein Information (9.34g)
  • Carbohydrate (9.28g): of which sugars (7.76g)

Does Natural Muscle Co. Muscle Rehab Amplified Have Any Side Effects?

Potential side effects may include

  • Stomach cramps
  • Diarrhoea
  • Nausea
  • Muscle cramps
  • Low blood pressure
  • Abdominal pain
  • Bloating
  • Dizziness or light-headedness

Creatine can draw water from your body to the muscles, so it is important to drink plenty of water while using it.

If you are sensitive to caffeine you may experience:

  • Jitteriness
  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety

Beta Alanine is known to cause a short-lived tingling sensation in some users.

Dietary Fructose has been blamed as a contributory factor to obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, gout, and other metabolic diseases because it is so widespread in so many foods and drinks. Short-term side effects may include diarrhoea or other bowel disturbances.

Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Check with your doctor before using especially if you suffer from an underlying medical condition, are taking prescription medication or know that you have low blood pressure.

This product is really worth trying. I’ve been using pre workout powders from places like Amazon and eBay for near on 10 years and none of them have the impact of this one. It gives you really intense focus on the gym and means an incredible workout and muscle pump. It doesn’t give the harsh weird tingle in your face and hands like the others but delivers the results. You’ll be missing out if you don’t try this
