Below we take an in-depth look at LMNITRIX Focus, to see what benefits it offers consumers.
LMNITRIX Focus is a powdered pre-workout supplement that is designed to boost energy levels and to maximise strength gains.
Customers can choose from numerous flavours such as Blue Slush, Watermelon Punch, Mango Ice, Green Apple, and Pink Lemonade.
Each serving contains about the same amount of caffeine as three large coffees (and imagine drinking them all within about five minutes).
There is a long list of side effects that could develop whilst taking LMNITRIX Focus. This is reflected in the customer reviews of the product. Reported side effects include vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness, light-headedness, upset stomach, decreased energy levels, sleepiness, and grogginess. There is also at least one person who reported “feeling weird” after taking it. Some people have reported tingly or itchy feet, which appears to be an expected side effect of Beta-alanine consumption.
The 340 mg of caffeine per serving is very high and could cause a range of side effects including headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia. Too much caffeine can actually make you feel sluggish and low on energy.
For a more extensive list of the side effects that could be caused by the ingredients found in LMNITRIX Focus, click on the Side Effects tab.
LMNITRIX Focus can be purchased from the official LMNITRIX website, where a single tub costs $29.99 plus delivery charges.
Each tub contains 30 servings.
LMNITRIX Focus is a powdered pre-workout supplement that is designed to boost energy levels and to maximise strength gains.
The supplement comes in a choice of three flavours when purchased directly from the manufacturers; Blue Slush, Watermelon Punch, and Mango Ice. From third party online retailers, other flavours are also available, including Green Apple and Pink Lemonade.
Directions for use are as follows:
LMNITRIX Focus is manufactured by an American supplement company called LMNITRIX, who are based out of West Virginia. LMNITRIX describe themselves as a family-run company, and are mainly known for their range of pre-workouts, BCAAs, and other workout aids. As well as selling each of their products individually, LMNITRIX also sells “stacks” of several products together that target weight loss, athletic performance, and other areas. The company can be contacted via the details supplied on their official website.
LMNITRIX describe Focus as an intense pre-workout formula that is suitable for consumption by both men and women. It was designed with maximum energy boost and ultimate strength gains in mind, and is also intended to aid mental focus and clarity.
Beta alanine and AAKG will both maximise the consumer’s performance in the gym, especially if they are concentrating on muscle building exercises. By being able to work harder, consumers will be able to build more muscle overall. The quantities are on the low end of recommended dosing, and so are unlikely to have a huge effect.
Caffeine could boost energy levels, both physically and mentally. However, the amount found in a serving of this supplement is very high (similar to drinking three large coffees at once), making side effects likely, including the possibility of a noticeable energy crash a few hours after consumption.
Huperzine is a nootropic supplement, and Choline is used by the brain to make acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter linked with various aspects of memory.
Overall, this supplement could offer some benefits, but the dosages of individual ingredients are far from ideal.
The ingredients found in LMNITRIX Focus are detailed below. The ingredient quantities provided are per single scoop (6.6 grams).
There are numerous ingredients found in LMNITRIX Focus that could cause a range of side effects.
Consuming large quantities of caffeine can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.
The most common side effect of Beta Alanine is a tingling sensation in the muscles; many consider this a sign that the Beta-alanine is working, and as evidence that the supplement is indeed correctly dosed. Some people may dislike the tingling sensation, but it is not a sign of anything negative or more serious. Flushing is also a side effect caused by taking high doses of Beta alanine.
Creatine can cause some side effects including stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, and muscle cramping. Creatine causes muscles to draw water from the rest of your body.
Arginine can increase Nitric Oxide levels, and this can, in turn, lower blood pressure; anyone who already has low blood pressure, or who are taking medications that affect blood pressure, should avoid taking arginine and other supplements that claim to increase NO levels. In one study, L-Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) caused side effects including dizziness, vomiting, and loss of consciousness. AAKG is not recommended for continuous, high-level use for more than 60 days.
Personal tolerance of choline supplementation appears to vary a lot from person to person; the main side effect appears to be headaches.
Huperzine A can cause a range of side effects including digestive issues, stomach issues, blurred vision, loss of appetite, sweating, cramping, high blood pressure, and other issues. The likelihood of side effects occurring increases when the supplement is taken for a prolonged period of time, and cycling the product (with a break in use every four weeks or so) is recommended to reduce the chances of side effects occurring.
There are numerous reviews for LMNITRIX Focus on Amazon, where the product was once sold, but we encourage our readers to take the positive reviews with a huge pinch of salt; the reviews received an F rating on Fakespot.com, suggesting that around 60% of the reviews are fake or suspicious. The side effects referred to in negative reviews are also quite alarming.
Great boost of focus and energy but it makes my hands and feet itch. Not sure why. I don’t have any known allergy so it kind of is weird but it goes away after like 10 mins but pretty annoying until then.
This item made me sick! I felt light headed and dizzy. The crash lasted for hours! Definitely throwing it out
makes you groggy and makes you feel weird dont do it.
I took this product 3 time and it made me sick every time and I threw up 2 of the 3 times of taking it.
LMNITRIX’s policy on returns is fairly confusing. On their “returns policy”, the company states that they only offer refunds on unopened packages returned within 14 days of receiving it. This policy does not qualify as a money-back guarantee, which should only refer to opened packages (meaning that customers have had a chance to try the product and decide they don’t like it before receiving a refund).
Incidentally, the company claims to offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on the product sales page for Focus, also describing it as a “100% Guarantee” on the links at the bottom of the website. Looking at the terms of the guarantee on the dedicated “Guarantee” page, however, it is phrased as if it only covers BCAA products.
It may be worth contacting the company for clarification if you are thinking of applying for a refund for any LMNITRIX products, as the website is full of strange contradictions on this issue!
The returns policies of third-party retailers may vary.
LMNITRIX Focus can be purchased from the official LMNITRIX website, where a single tub costs $29.99 plus delivery charges. It is available in a choice of three flavours.
The supplement is also sold at the third-party online retailer, Nutrition Pit. Here a single tub costs $29.99 plus delivery charges. Supp Champ, another online distributor, also sell a single tub for $29.99 plus delivery charges.
Overall, we are not very impressed by LMNITRIX Focus. With the total caffeine content per serving being 340 mg, it is unsurprising that many consumers have experienced side effects. This high dosage could definitely boost energy levels, but it could also cause jitteriness and a number of other side effects. Unfortunately, many of the other ingredients appear to be under-dosed, and the high caffeine content prevents consumers from doubling the dosage to get more beta-alanine or AAKG.
The manufacturer’s returns policy is confusing and contradictory, with different policies laid out on different parts of the website. As such, customers may not be able to receive a refund.
Many of the customer reviews are positive, but Fakespot suggests that many are also fake or suspicious. Fake reviews seem to crop up on all the Amazon listings of LMNITRIX products.
There are numerous customer complaints about the taste of the supplement in reviews, as well as numerous reports of side effects.
Overall, we do not recommend LMNITRIX Focus to our readers.
