ImSoAlpha is a supplements company aimed at bodybuilders. It was founded by ex-pro boxer turned bodybuilder, Mike Rashid, who is a well-known name in bodybuilding. Mike has written some informational eBooks – the Overtraining series aimed at improving body and mental performance, and provides a full range of supplements aimed at supporting bodybuilding.
ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is sometimes advertised under the name iX3 HGH Spray. It is part of a supplements range created by bodybuilder Mike Rashid under the name ImSoAlpha, but if you are expecting it to give you the same body building results as Mike has achieved, you will be disappointed.
This so-called HGH spray is supposed to increase your body’s store of human growth hormone, but contains such low servings of ingredients that it is more like a homeopathy treatment than a real supplement. (homeopathy believes the smaller the serving size the better). This means that although the supplement contains some well-known ingredients including herbal extracts and amino acids, none of these are likely to have any effect whether you spray them under your tongue, or anywhere else for that matter.
At such low quantities of active ingredients, side effects are very unlikely.
ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is massively overpriced. It costs a whopping $64.97 if you buy direct from the official website. This is for 1 x bottle containing 30 servings (30 days supply). You can buy an additional bottle for just $5.00 extra.
Shipping information is not provided and the company is happy to ship worldwide. We imagine that shipping costs are applied at the point of sale.
We have also seen ImSoAlpha HGH Spray on sale via some bodybuilding websites, such as Ill Pump You Up where it costs $38.95 a bottle.
We do not rate this supplement at all. ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is not going to work as described, and in our opinion it is a total waste of money. The best we can say about it is that it is highly unlikely to cause any side effects!
Although ingredient quantities can be lower when delivered in spray form because this form of drug delivery is more efficient and faster working, there do need to be some active ingredients in order to get into your blood stream and work. The two proprietary blends contained in the spray are so ineffective, it is actually impossible that this supplement will have any effect at all beyond a placebo.
If you want to increase HGH levels safely, changes to diet, sleep, exercise, and lifestyle, such as cutting out alcohol will be more effective than pinning your hopes on this overpriced spray. This supplement will not deliver the advertised benefits and it is important to point out that even if these ingredients were included in larger quantities, there is no real evidence that this formula will boost HGH as claimed.
Overall, we do not recommend ImSoAlpha HGH Spray to the Watchdog readers.
ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is a sublingual spray which means that you squirt under your tongue, and this enables the active ingredients to be transmitted into your body very quickly.
HGH, or human growth hormone, is a protein molecule that contains 191 amino acids. It is produced in the pituitary gland and its role is to stimulate growth, cell reproduction, and regeneration. The body uses this natural hormone mainly throughout puberty in order to grow. As we age, our levels of HGH decrease naturally because we cannot keep growing at the same rate as we did when we were teenagers.
HGH can be made synthetically. The best known form is as Somatropin, a prescription drug used to treat children with growth disorders and adults with hormone deficiencies.
However, the best known use for HGH is as a body building drug because it is effective for growing muscle, and it is also often taken in combination with steroids. This is not legal but it is widespread. Too much HGH can lead to the prominent belly known as HGH Gut, where the organs expand and grow, causing the belly to distend. Source
ImSoAlpha HGH Spray does not contain synthetic HGH. Instead it contains a blend of amino acids and herbal ingredients such as Horny Goat Weed, Deer Antler Velvet, and Longjack, all of which show up in supplements aimed at increasing testosterone production.
According to the product information, all the ingredients are safe and effective with no adverse side effects, and this blend will cause the body to produce more HGH. Take a look at the ingredients tab to find out more.
ImSoAlpha is a supplements brand created by bodybuilding guru Mike Rashid. Mike claims to have achieved his gains naturally but some bodybuilding experts question his version of events, and have pointed at his slightly distended stomach as evidence of hormone abuse.
ImSoAlpha supplements include testosterone boosters, protein powders, muscle relief, and more. You can also buy Mike Rashid eBooks and clothing direct from the website. Mike Rashid is well known. You can connect with him on Facebook where he has over a million followers.
According to the product information,
ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is a groundbreaking product that helps you overcome HGH deficiency and enjoy your youth and vigor for longer.
The key benefits are advertised as follows:
There is no evidence that all these great benefits will happen if you use this spray. It is totally unproven.
No. We cannot see this supplement having much effect at all. Because it is in the form of a spray it is very hard to evaluate the strength of the ingredients (which are combined in two proprietary blends) but quantities are so low, we cannot see there being much effect at all.
The spray utilises sublingual delivery – meaning under the tongue. This is a very efficient method of drug delivery because when a chemical comes in contact with mucous membrane, situated beneath the tongue, it is then dispersed into the blood vessels so enters the blood stream fast, bypassing the liver and the digestive system.
In addition, the herbal ingredients do not come with a lot of good quality clinical testing to prove efficacy or to highlight possible risks. Could there be a risk to health because these substances bypass the liver, the body’s filter system? At these low levels, it seems unlikely to have any effect at all.
Increasing the body’s secretion of HGH has benefits if this is carried out naturally. In general, HGH levels can be improved by lifestyle changes and diet, such as going easy on the carbs and ensuring plenty of sleep which allows your body to recover after the day. (HGH is secreted more as we sleep especially between the hours of 11pm and 2 am).
Diet plays a major role too. Foodstuffs high in vitamin C are good as is Arginine, an amino acid present in cheese and also a component of this supplement. Exercise can increase HGH levels, but alcohol can decrease HGH.
One thing is sure. ImSoAlpha HGH Spray is not going to have the same effects on the body as HGH injections or improving your lifestyle. Source
Serving size is equal to 6 sprays. Quantities are provided as ng (nanograms) a tiny measurement unit. There are 1000000000 mcg in 1 kilo (roughly 1 litre).
As a rough guide 1ng is equal to 0.001 microgram, so quantities contained in this spray are similar to those found in homeopathic treatments.
Proprietary Blend (27,250ng): This sounds like an impressively large serving size but in truth this can be converted to 27.50mcg, less than 1 mg. It contains herbal ingredients more commonly taken in larger quantities. These are:
Proprietary Blend (8757 ng): This converts to 0.008757mcg of ingredients. These include:
It is highly unlikely to cause side effects. The ingredient quantities are so low, it is unlikely to have any effect whatsoever.
