Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot

Rating
For athletes and bodybuilders looking to build muscle, low testosterone levels can be a real hindrance. It can cause a decrease in muscle mass and sex drive, and some studies even suggest that a lack of free testosterone can cause low moods or depression. There are lots of ways to solve the problem of low testosterone, from taking up strength training to eating a healthier diet, but for a quicker fix, many turn to supplements, such as Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot. These often promise to decrease or maintain estrogen levels whilst increasing free testosterone levels. However, many of these just do not work or cause a whole range of rather unpleasant side effects.

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot, to see if it is a supplement which lives up to its claims

What You Need To Know About Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot

Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot is a US manufactured pre-workout supplement made by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It is a supplement in capsule form, that may help increase testosterone levels and lower estrogen levels to help promote health and build muscle. It’s used by many consumers as part of a post cycle therapy – for helping to keep testosterone levels up after a course of anabolic steroids.

There are many concerns about the manufacturer, who are just as well known for their ongoing legal battles as they are for producing supplements. They continued to manufacture and sell products containing DMAA, a banned substance, as well as being found to be marketing dietary supplements with unsubstantiated claims.

What Are The Side Effects Of Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot?

No side effects have been reported but the inclusion of indole-3-carbinol can cause skin rashes and small increases in liver enzymes.

How Much Does Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Cost?

From the official Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals website, the supplement costs $49.95 for 90 capsules, which is a 30-day supply. Shipping is free.

Our Verdict On Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot

As soon as we saw who manufactured the product, we had our concerns. They are notably one of the most controversial companies in the supplement industry, having been raided by US Marshals in 2013, continuing to make and sell products containing DMAA, despite it being banned in 2013 by the FDA and the World Anti Doping Administration. In fact, the description for one of their products included the following:

Most companies let the FDA intimidate them into stopping the sales of this extremely potent combination. Well, not Hi-Tech.

This tells us everything we need to know about the company and their products – they are more interested in making a profit than the law and the health and wellbeing of their customers.

There’s no information whatsoever about money-back guarantees, or the refund or returns process, and the website.

We aren’t keen on the product, and certainly not on the manufacturer, but we do have to say that it probably will work for many consumers, as many of the ingredients do have some scientific backing. However, being a proprietary blend means the quantities are unknown. Anything that messes with hormones is a big no-no to us though, and especially a company with such dubious ethics, so with all of that in mind, we do not recommend Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot to our readers.

Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Review

Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot is a supplement made by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, and is designed to help support an optimal free testosterone to estrogen ratio to promote health and build muscle.

Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Facts

  • Manufactured by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals in the USA
  • 90 capsules per bottle (30-day supply)
  • Often used as post-cycle therapy

All men, once they hit peak testosterone, usually around the age of 30, begin to experience some changes to their body that aren’t particularly welcome to most due to the decrease in testosterone. This may include a lower sex drive, being able to maintain an erection, reduced muscle mass, and increase in body fat and enlarged breasts. These symptoms are also common in athletes and bodybuilders who have stopped using anabolic steroids, which are used to boost performance and improve physical appearance. To reduce the effects, supplements such as Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot are used by many as a post-cycle therapy (PCT).

How to Take Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot

Take one tablet three times a day. It is best taken at meal times. Do not exceed six tablets daily

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals are a US-based company. They were established in 1994 and their offices are in a town called Norcross, just north of Atlanta. Jared Wheat is the CEO and President of the company, who was once convicted for a large-scale illegal drug smuggling offence. The company has been in the midst of controversy for many years, originally being given a court order in 2008 for marketing dietary supplements with unsubstantiated claims. They were found in contempt of breaking this order in October 2017, and a $40 million judgement was set against them. They’ve also been in a legal battle with the Food Drug Authority (FDA) for continuing to make and sell products containing DMAA, despite the substance being banned by both the FDA and the World Anti Doping Administration (WADA) back in 2013 for being linked to deaths.

Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Concerns:

  • Have previously made products containing banned substances
  • Have been in trouble for making unsubstantiated claims in the past
  • CEO is a convicted drug smuggler
  • No information on money-back guarantee or returns or refunds policy

What Does Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Claim To Do?

The manufacturer of Hi-Tech Estrogenex claims the product is:

A carefully selected synergistically combined formulation, based on methodically researched scientific strategy designed to support normal, healthy and optimal estrogen and testosterone levels in bodybuilders, strength athletes and all men once they hit ‘andropeak’ in their mid-20s and begin to experience undesirable changes in the levels of sex hormones

Does Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Work?

There is a long list of ingredients, some of which are known to be aromatase inhibitors, so there will be some effect on the levels of estrogen and testosterone after taking them. However, some of the ingredients have no research to back up the efficiency of them, and due to it being a proprietary blend, we have no idea how much of each ingredient is in there. Due to this, we think that it may have some effect on some consumers, but we cannot say that as a whole, it works.

What Are The Ingredients of Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot?

Please note this is a proprietary blend, so quantities of each ingredient are unknown.

  • Brassaiopsis glomerulata extract (leaves): This is an extract from a Vietnamese tree that is used in herbal medicine to treat back pain and rheumatism in the elderly. It is thought to contain aromatase inhibitors, which could be used in the treatment of breast cancer. No evidence currently exists to suggest that Brassaiopsis Glomerulata causes an increase in testosterone or decrease in estrogen. Source
  • N-Benzoyl-1-Phenylalanine Methyl Ester: This appears to be a component of the brassaiopsis glomerulata.
  • 8-Benzoflavone: Aromatization is what occurs when testosterone converts to estrogen in the body – a big problem for athletes after taking anabolic steroids, and so an aromatase inhibitor is needed. This is what 8-Benzoflavone does.
  • 8-Bromo-7-Methoxy Chrysin: This has a similar effect to the 8-Benzoflavone. However, it can increase the risk of bleeding when taken with some anticoagulant drugs such as heparin or warfarin and aspirin. It can also lower blood pressure.
  • Epiandrosterone: This is very similar in structure to another compound called androsterone, and many get the two confused. It converts to DHT, which is the male sex hormone.
  • 9-Hydroxy-Alpha-Naphthoflavone: This is another ingredient that is claimed to help inhibit Aromatization, although very little information can be found about it.
  • Coumestrol Dimethyl Ether: This is another ingredient said to improve the levels of testosterone in the body, although little clinical evidence can be found to back this claim up.
  • Indole-3-carbinol: Many studies have suggested that Indole-3-carbinol can help to prevent the development of oestrogen-enhanced cancers including breast, endometrial, and cervical cancers. It also appears to counteract the effects of oestrogen upon the growth of oestrogen-enhanced tumours. Source
  • Beta-sitosterol: These are plant sterol supplements, marketed in bodybuilding to assist in the production of various hormones. However, there is no evidence to suggest they work, and they are often used as a filler ingredient.
  • Stinging nettle extract (standardised to 3,4-divanillyltetrahydrofuran and silican)(leaves): Stinging nettles are well known across Europe and are a powerful diuretic. They may have other health benefits too, but there are no claims that this herbal ingredient can increase testosterone levels.
  • Muira puama 20:1 extract: The bark of this plant is often used for treating sexual disorders or as an aphrodisiac. However, there is no research or evidence to support its effectiveness in regards to increasing testosterone levels or decreasing estrogen. It also has some effects, including insomnia, pounding heartbeats, and even psychosis.
  • Naringin (fruit): This compound found in grapefruits and has a bitter taste. It is known to extend the amount of time that caffeine remains in the body. This would make the effects of caffeine also last longer. Research also suggests that Naringin enhances lipid (fat) metabolism in the body

Does Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot Have Any Side Effects?

No side effects have been reported, but the inclusion of indole-3-carbinol can cause skin rashes and small increases in liver enzymes.

Like all supplements, it is advised to seek medical advice if you have any pre-existing medical problems before consuming this.

  1. Hi tech supplements have given me a rash on 2 occasions, the company will not stand by their product.
I have tried 3 different supplements from Hi Tech, Hi-Tech Estrogenex Depot, 1-AD, and Anavar.
I threw away Estrogenex, it smelled very strong-did nothing. Their 1-AD gave me a rash on my entire body for about 5 days. A month later I tried Anavar, the first serving gave me a rash on my upper body. The company WILL NOT TAKE THEIR PRODUCT BACK.
LET THEM GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
