Hi-Tech Decabolin is a fitness supplement aimed at bodybuilders. It comes with the claims that it will help you acquire hard, dry and striated lean muscle mass and will also help to increase your strength for the mass building cycle. According to the product information, Hi-Tech Decabolin is easy to stack with other pro hormones so you can make maximum gains with minimum effort in your body building cycle.
If any of this is true, Hi-Tech Decabolin could be the Holy Grail of body building because it seems to provide a legal alternative to the steroids and pro hormones that are now prohibited from sale. We take an in depth look into Hi-Tech Decabolin to find out more about this supplement.
Hi-Tech Pharma is a well-known supplement company based in Norcross, Georgia. The company creates their own formulae in the Hi-Tech research lab and sells supplements under their own label.
Steroids and pro hormones have been around for many years and most of them have been classed as illegal to supply or sell. Hi-Tech Pharma specialises in tweaking illegal substances to make them legal but this does not mean they are safe.
Hi-Tech Decabolin is named to reflect an illegal anabolic steroid called Deca Durabolin, but there is no real evidence it will work as described. Despite the Cyclosome delivery system, there are no guarantees that this substance will bypass the liver and reach your blood stream. In addition, the use of Decabolin is likely to cause side effects and will get you banned for doping if you take part in competitive sport.
Side effects may include; bladder contractions causing frequent passing of urine, breast tenderness, continued painful erections, enlarged breast, masculinisation if taken by women, acne, oily skin, loss of libido, infertility, anemia from inadequate iron, prostate issues such as increased risk of prostate cancer or an enlarged prostate gland, high amount of calcium in the blood, increased risk of bleeding, irritation of the stomach or intestines, liver problems, thickening of skin, water retention, sleep disturbances.
Hi-Tech Decabolin is expensive. If you buy from the Hi-Tech website it costs $89.95 for 60 capsules or one month’s supply.
Because this supplement is available from other retailers, you can shop around for price. We found it on sale from the A1 Supplements shop for $59.95 with a special offer of a second bottle for a 50% reduction.
We have serious concerns about Hi-Tech Decabolin, and although there is evidence that nandronol mimics testosterone and will help with muscle building and muscle repair, the high risk of dangerous side effects cannot be underestimated.
If you are determined to go ahead and use this supplement and/or other pro hormones, you need to check your results regularly with your doctor or physician and discontinue in the case of side effects.
In addition, you will need to avoid this supplement if you take part in competitive sport because it will get you banned for doping.
All that said, we would never recommend such a dangerous and pointless supplement as this one. Training and body building by safe methods is the best way to build muscle, and if you use this supplement to achieve some kind of pumped up nirvana you may find that the side effects come back to bite you later.
Hi-Tech Decabolin is a supplement that claims to help you acquire hard, dry and striated lean muscle mass that will also help to increase your strength for the mass building cycle. Not only will it achieve this, but Hi-Tech Decabolin is easy to stack with other pro hormones in order to help you make maximum gains with minimum effort.
Hi-Tech is promoting Decabolin as a legal pro hormone. In fact, it is related to Deca Durabolin an illegal anabolic steroid whose name to be honest is remarkably similar, and we suspect this is no coincidence.
Decabolin increases the Nandrolone supply in the body. Nandrolone is a synthetic anabolic androgenic steroid (ASS) which mimics the effects of certain hormones, in particular the hormone testosterone. Some of the useful side effects of Nandrolone are muscle growth, increased recovery time in muscle damage and reduced joint pain.
It is important to remember that Nandrolone is not a natural part of our physical make up. It is taken as a steroid. When it is the target for a supplement as here, the idea is that the body converts into Nandrolone by the use of pro hormones.
Understanding pro hormones is a complicated subject and although you may have heard of it many times, few understand what the term really means. To explain it simply, a pro hormone is something that actually converts into a hormone after it has been ingested, so in many cases can get around the law which sees steroids and hormones such as testosterone and Nandrolone actually banned.
Now a pre pro hormone like 19-NorAndro does convert to Nandrolone (commonly known as the anabolic androgenic steroid deca durabolin), and is in fact a popular anabolic steroid. This means that it is banned for use in sports and will show up in dope tests.
The main ingredient of Hi-Tech Decabolin is 19-NorAndro (19-norAndrost-4-ene-3b-ol, 17-one) If you have just read that for the first time try repeating it without re reading it!
19-NorAndro (19-norAndrost-4-ene-3b-ol, 17-one) or more simply, 19-NorAndro is a pre pro hormone and is connected to pro hormones, which in turn are connected to anabolic steroids.
The main problem with using this class of pro hormone is the high risk of side effects which can be potentially dangerous to your long term health.
The other problem is that it may not be effective. When Hi-Tech Decabolin is ingested there is no guarantee that much of it will even be converted to Nandronol. This is because when the compound is ingested much of it will be blocked and removed by the liver.
Hi-Tech are aware of this discrepancy and have developed a system they call Cyclosome™ Technology that involves the entrapment of hydrophobic pro hormones and other Testosterone boosting compounds in the form of water-soluble pro hormone – cyclodextrin (CD) complex.
Hi-Tech also claims you can think of all this in terms of a ‘Trojan Horse”, passing through the liver unharmed and intact as opposed to being destroyed in the liver like all other hormonal products on the market, past and present.
We honestly can’t evaluate any facts from Cyclosome™ Technology but if you are using the myth of the Trojan horse to explain your science then alarm bells must surely begin to ring.
If you decide to try Hi-Tech Decabolin you need to be aware that as well as the risk of serious side effects, there has been virtually no testing on blood samples when using this supplement and it might not even work.
Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, sometimes referred to as Hi-Tech Pharma are notorious for providing dodgy looking supplements that seem to tread a fine line between legal and illegal. Weight loss supplements include Jackd Up and Fastin which both contain the banned stimulant DMAE.
The company also produces a range of similar pro hormone supplements for bodybuilders including 1 AD and supplements such as Bulasterone, billed as the world’s strongest testosterone booster.
According to the product information there are three key features about this supplement;
The product information explains that this supplement is the only legal Nandrolone precursor on the market.
“Decabolin® converts at a high rate to its target hormone Nandrolone and is better than testosterone for building mass and strength as it produces fewer side effects. It’s effectiveness at the androgen receptor of muscle tissue is superior to that of testosterone.”
Nandrolone (“Deca”) is prized as the perfect anabolic compound. Decabolin® — 19-NorAndrost-4-ene-3b-ol, 17-one Decanoate — is the only product of its kind still legal to convert to “Deca” in the body.
Even more important is that Decabolin® cannot directly aromatize to estrogen nor does convert to DHT or its derivatives, making it highly potent, completely non-aromatizable to estrogen and naturally occurring.”
It might work but the big question comes down to how much of the substance can be converted into Nandronol.
Nandronol will encourage muscle build and aid muscle recovery, but it is hard to say whether the capsule ingested form will produce enough conversion from Decabolin for this to happen.
Each capsule is equal to one serving.
Decabolin may cause a wide range of potentially dangerous side effects. These may include;
Less common side effects can include:
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor before using this supplement especially if you have an underlying health condition or are taking prescription medication
If you are a competitive athlete it is important to remember that using this supplement will get you banned for doping (cheating)
There is one review posted on the Decabolin product page.
This customer stacked it with other Hi-Tech product Andro and reported,
Used it on a 4 week cycle, 2 tablets per day. Stacked with 1-andro (2 tablets pets day). Gains and strength increases became more apparent at end of cycle but joint pain disappeared as well. Dosage needs to be upped since it is ester bound. If used solo, higher dosage and 6 week cycle minimum
Although this is vaguely positive, another customer did not have the same experience. He reported,
Complete waste of money. I tried it for 30 days while following a consistent diet and workout schedule. Would not recommend definitely better pHs out there than this.
There is no money back guarantee on offer with Hi-Tech Decabolin.
You can buy Decabolin from specialist bodybuilding outlets such as A1 supplements. It is also available direct from the Hi-Tech website.
