We take an in-depth look below to see just how good ErgoCut really is.
Overall, ErgoCut appears to be a diet supplement that noticeably boosts the consumer’s energy and mental focus. Because the product is fairly new, weight loss results have yet to be noted in any customer reviews, but the ingredients list suggests that the product could aid weight loss somewhat by increasing thermogenesis and the body’s metabolic rate.
However, there are a lot of side effects associated with the use of the ingredients used in ErgoCut. This is probably why there is also a long list of restrictions of who should not use this diet pill for their own health. Some of the ingredients, such as Higenamine, have never been tested in humans, and so the safety of this and other ingredients have not been fully assessed. Each bottle contains 120 capsules, enough for 30 days of use, making this product fairly good value for money. Whilst bodybuilding.com do not expressly offer a money back guarantee, their returns and exchanges policy covers both opened and unopened products.
Significant quantities of caffeine can cause side effects such as headaches, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations and problems sleeping. Black Pepper extracts are thought to increase the bioavailability of medications and supplements, meaning that more of the active ingredients are absorbed into the blood stream.
This does make the diet pill more potent, but also increases the risk of side effects, and could potentially cause accidental overdose of any other medications that the dieter is also using.
ErgoCut is available exclusively through Bodybuilding.com, and is not even described on the Ergogenix official website. One bottle of 120 capsules costs $37.50, plus delivery.
Because of the lack of reviews, we can only estimate that this product will aid with some weight loss, although because of the mixture of results from various clinical trials, it is difficult to establish just how strong ErgoCut really is.
However, with the large number of restrictions of use and potential side effects, we cannot approve this diet pill, nor recommend it to our readers.
ErgoCut is manufactured by Ergogenix, a US company that states, “We are dedicated to producing efficacious, top-quality, reasonably priced sports supplements— using proven ingredients backed by science. Ergocut supposedly has the following benefits:
The manufacturer adds that ‘by using ErgoCut you will be able to:
However, these claims are followed by a disclaimer that the product is a supplement, is not intended to treat any medical ailment, and the claims have not been assessed by the FDA.
The ingredients list for ErgoCut is extensive, with a large proportion of the ingredients dedicated to improving energy and mental focus. Some ingredients also seem to reduce anxiety through boosting production of various hormones in the brain. This is certainly reflected in the two reviews we could locate for the product.
There are also some stimulant products that may aid weight loss in a variety of ways. Tyramine is thought by some to increase lipolysis, although there is little clinical evidence to support this supposition. Caffeine is a fairly mild but well-established stimulant that boosts the metabolism.
Higenamine and Theobromine are also stimulants, although at present they have little clinical evidence to show just how effective they are at aiding weight loss.
Overall, it appears that this diet pill may aid some weight loss. However, it is possible that the increased energy that consumers experience plays a large role in this, allowing dieters to exercise for longer and more often, burning more calories overall.
The manufacturers of ErgoCut have provided a full ingredients list, complete with the quantities of each individual ingredient used in the diet pill. The ingredient quantities listed below are per serving of two capsules.
There are several ingredients used in Ergocut that could cause a variety of side effects. At the time of writing there were very few reviews of the product, none of which reported any side effects. However, this does not rule out the possibility of side effects occurring.
Capsicum extract can cause various symptoms which can include stomach irritation and upset, sweating, flushing, and runny nose. Possible side effects of Coleus Forskohlii include headaches, a decrease in blood pressure, increased heart rate, heart palpitations, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, fatigue, lack of concentration, heart burn, indigestion, stomach cramps.
Huperzine A can cause a variety of side effects including nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, sweating, cramping and high blood pressure. Higenamine has not been studied in humans, and so its safety is unknown. As it is a stimulant, it could cause increased blood pressure, increased heart rate and heart palpitations.
Tyramine can trigger headaches and migraines, as well as raise blood pressure. It should not be used in conjunction with MAOIs (a certain type of antidepressant). Tyrosine can cause nausea, headaches, fatigue, heart burn and joint pain. Sulbutiamine can cause skin rashes, although this appears to be rare.

There is a single review for ErgoCut on bodybuilding.com. The current lack of reviews is likely because the product was only launched in February 2015.
After first week taking twice daily I not stop taking it! Suppresses my appetite, gives me energy and helps me stay focused. Keeps me from sugar cravings also. Will see in couple of weeks as far as weight loss goes. I suffer from depression and the L-Tyrosine keeps me from having to go back on my meds. Thanks for offering this product!!!
There is also a single comment about ErgoCut on the Ergogenix Facebook page:
Been using it for about a week. Love the energy and focus.
