What You Need To Know About Epiq Rush

As Epiq Rush is not available directly from the manufacturer’s official website, there is no money back guarantee on this product. The returns policies of third party retailers may vary immensely. As the product is available from numerous retailers, there is good price competition, and it is possible to find a good deal on the price.

The manufacturers do not provide any individual ingredient quantities on the ingredients list, as they use several proprietary formulas. This means that it is difficult to establish the strength and effectiveness of the product, as well as to establish the likelihood of any side effects occurring.

The ingredients list is a mixture of ingredients that have actual clinical support linking them to weight loss, and some ingredients that are popular diet pill ingredients despite a lack of supporting human clinical trials, such as raspberry ketones and green coffee bean extract. The inclusion of cordyceps sinensis is interesting; the fungus appears to improve the processing of oxygen in the body, and it has been linked with improved athletic performance and endurance, as well as improved cognition and memory; although it will not aid weight loss directly, it is definitely a beneficial ingredient.

What Are The Side Effects Of Epiq Rush?

There are some ingredients used in Epiq Rush that could cause some side effects. As there are no individual ingredient quantities provided, it is unclear how likely it is that any side effects will develop. For a full list, please see the Side Effects tab below.

How Much Does Epiq Rush Cost?

From amazon, a single tub of Epiq Rush costs $29.99 plus delivery charges.

Our Verdict On Epiq Rush

The inclusion of ingredients that are popular but most likely ineffective, as well as the lack of money back guarantee and minimal information about ingredient quantities are all issues with this product. However, it comes well-recommended from customers who have reviewed the product. Overall, we do not recommend Epiq Rush to our readers.

There are numerous studies that suggest that Cordyceps Sinensis could help both brain function and physical performance during exercise. Studies in mice suggest that it could help to improve learning memory. It appears to improve the body’s utilisation of oxygen, which could help the consumer to feel more focused, more awake, and more energetic.

Green tea contains catechins, including EGCG; One study found that participants who drank beverages high in catechins extracted from green tea (690 mg/d) lost significantly more weight and body fat than those who drank beverages low in catechins (22 mg/d).

Epiq Rush Concerns:

  • No money back guarantee
  • No individual ingredient quantities provided

Caffeine, present both in green tea, green coffee bean and as a separate ingredient, is a mild stimulant that causes a slight increase in the consumer’s metabolic rate. This can help the body to burn a small amount of additional calories in the few hours after consumption.

Raspberry ketone has no clinical support from studies in humans, having been tested exclusively in animals and test tube trials. Whilst it could be a promising fat burner, this lack of research means we have no idea what results can be expected from its use. Green coffee bean was thought to be an incredible fat burner until recently, when the main research was exposed as fraudulent and was retracted. It may still aid weight loss minimally, purely because of the natural caffeine content.

What Does Epiq Rush Claim To Do?

The manufacturers of Epiq Rush describe the product as an ‘Ultra-Intense Thermogenic Powder’ which provides ‘Relentless Energy & Endurance for Training’ and ‘Powerful Thermogenesis’.

Does Epiq Rush Work?

The customer reviews for Epiq Rush are generally positive; a few customers note that if being compared to a strong supplement that contains artificial ingredients that are amphetamine-like, consumers will be disappointed, but most note that it is generally free from side effects, and provides an even and steady energy boost.

What Are The Ingredients of Epiq Rush?

The ingredients used in Epiq Rush are listed below. The product is a powder formula, which should be mixed with water. Individual ingredient quantities are not provided as the product consists of a proprietary formula. Each serving of a single 4 gram scoop of powder contains 1228 mg of the Peak Performance Blend, 361 mg of the Epiq Rush Blend and 178 mg of the Energy Boosting Blend.

Peak Performance Blend 1228 mg

  • Citrulline Nitrate 603 Mg (Supplying 26% Nitrates): L-Citrulline supplementation results in reduced fatigue and improved endurance for both aerobic and anaerobic prolonged exercise. There is not enough evidence to support the claim that L-citrulline supplementation improves power output during exercise. L-citrulline also boosts nitric oxide production in the body. Nitric oxide helps your arteries relax and work better, which improves blood flow throughout the body.

  • Taurine: Used often in energy drinks, some studies suggest that this amino acid may play a role in athletic performance, meaning that it is only useful for dieters who exercise. There is no link between Taurine and weight loss known at this time.
    Source: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-living/taurine
  • L-Aspartic Acid: An amino acid. It could help to boost memory and cognition, and as amino acids are the building blocks of protein, it could help to maximise muscle gains in consumers who are undertaking muscle building exercises.
    Source: http://www.livestrong.com/article/what-is-l-aspartic-acid
  • Cordyceps Sinensis Extract (as Paecilomyces hepiali): This ingredient is a parasitic fungus that grows on caterpillar larvae in some regions of India. It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. There is limited evidence linking this ingredient with improved athletic performance and endurance. It may also boost the immune system, improve cognition and act as a mood enhancer.

Epiq Rush Blend 361 mg

  • Green tea leaf extract (as camelia sinensis) 100 mg (std. for 25% EGCG, 12.5% caffeine): Green tea is high in a group of antioxidants called catechins. Studies have suggested that catechins increase thermogenesis in the body, whilst caffeine increases energy expenditure by boosting the metabolism slightly for few hours.
    Source: http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/70/6/1040.full
  • Raspberry Ketones: Although it can be extracted from raspberries, as the name suggests, the majority of raspberry ketones used in supplements is lab-synthesised, as this is a more cost effective option. Whilst there is a small amount of evidence that raspberry ketone can cause weight loss in rats, there have never been any human trials on the potential weight loss effects of raspberry ketone.
    Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/raspberry-ketones.html
  • Green Coffee Extract (Bean): Contains caffeine. Whilst it was thought that this ingredient was a significant aid in weight loss, the relevant research has been discredited as it was fraudulent. Currently there is no evidence that it aids with weight loss more than any other source of caffeine. See our article for more details: http://www.dietpillswatchdog.com/shocking-truth-research-behind-green-coffee-bean/

Energy Boosting Blend 178 mg

  • Caffeine Anhydrous 138 mg: Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive.
    Source: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-living/caffeine
  • L-Theanine: This amino acid may play a small role in weight loss, as well as increasing feelings of relaxation. It may also reduce the negative side effects of caffeine, although there is seemingly no strong clinical evidence to support this claim.

Does Epiq Rush Have Any Side Effects?

There are some ingredients used in Epiq Rush that could cause some side effects. As there are no individual ingredient quantities provided, it is unclear how likely it is that any side effects will develop.

Consuming large quantities of caffeine can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness and insomnia. Green tea can also cause constipation.

Theanine causes a state of relaxation without drowsiness, and may help to counteract some of the potential side effects of caffeine, such as jitteriness. Consumers should still ensure that they do not take this supplement or any other source of caffeine within 5 hours of bedtime, as caffeine can interfere with sleep cycles.

Raspberry Ketone has not been extensively researched, and so at this time there are not any known serious side effects associated with the use of the ingredient. Customers taking raspberry ketone supplements often report raspberry flavoured or scented burps.

Caution:
Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use if you are under the age of 18. Consult with a health care practitioner before taking this or any nutritional supplement if you have or suspect a medical condition, are taking any medications, whether prescription or over the counter products. Do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing. Do not take this supplement if you are sensitive to caffeine and other stimulant ingredients.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Epiq Rush?

We were able to locate a few customer reviews on amazon, but overall there is not much feedback from customers about the product.

Love this stuff! It keeps me focused and gives me a little extra bounce without feeling crazy or sick during my workouts. I weight train and do cardio 6 days a week (2 hours a day) and currently this is my go-to preworkout. I tend to be stimulant sensitive, but this stuff just gives me even energy and drive. It also tastes great! No problem getting it down, and it does not come back up! I have read that some people have issues with it not mixing well. This is slightly true. From time to time the particles will not completely dissolve. However, that does not hinder me from drinking it. I will continue to use this product!

Has become a regular part of my workout routine. Especially helpful for 5:00 a.m. Workouts. Just the right level of a boost.

Let me start off by saying that if you are use to hard-hitting, amphetamine type monstrous pre-workout supplements, this product is not for you.
If you are looking for something really clean and even tempered, this may be for you.
Here’s my only qualm with this product. I feel like it just dies out after about 30 minutes. There is no “crash” for me, but the focus and energy just kind of go away. During that 30 minutes, everything is fantastic, but that’s about it.
I guess this I what you get when you go “all natural/ no banned substances.” So, even though this product is not for everyone, it is still a quality product which is why I rated it 4 stars.
I would say that if you are a mostly cardio person, this stuff would be excellent. Especially for hikers/ runners etc. because of the “no crash” aspect.

There is also a 5 star review at Lucky Vitamin, where the consumer comments ‘I love the rush!’, but adds no more information about their experience with the product.

Does Epiq Rush Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

As this product is not sold directly by the manufacturers, there is no money back guarantee available. The returns policies of the various third party retailers that stock this product will vary, and consumers should check what the returns policy is at their chosen supplier before purchase.

Where Can I Buy Epiq Rush?

Epiq Rush is not directly available from the official Epiq website, Epiqresults.com. However, it is available at a number of different third party online supplement retailers.

From amazon, a single tub of Epiq Rush costs $29.99 plus delivery charges.

Dolphin Fitness sell Epiq Rush; here a single tub costs £19.95, but the company offer discounts for bulk purchases. A purchase of two or more bottles will cost £19.15 per tub, while a purchase of four or more tubs will cost £18.75 per tub. Delivery charges may apply. At the time of writing this article, the product was out of stock at Dolphin Fitness.

American Supps offer a tub for €27.90 plus delivery charges.

Whilst the product has previously been sold at both GNC and Lucky Vitamin, it appears that neither of these companies stocks Epiq Rush any more.

A single tub contains 60 servings, and so if used as recommended, a single tub will last for 30 days of use.
