What You Need To Know About Epiq Power

There are no individual ingredient quantities provided for Epiq Power, and so it is difficult to establish which ingredients, if any, are provided in the correct dosages to maximise performance and minimise the chances of side effects developing.

Creatine appears to increase strength when taken regularly in conjunction with strength training, and caffeine will increase energy levels and potentially cause a slight increase to the body’s metabolic rate for a few hours after consumption.

What Are The Side Effects Of Epiq Power?

There are numerous ingredients present in Epiq Power that could potentially cause a range of side effects. For a full list, please see below.

Our Verdict On Epiq Power

As Epiq Power is not available directly from the manufacturer’s official website, there is no money back guarantee on this product. The returns policies of third party retailers may vary immensely, but bodybuilding.com do offer a comprehensive returns policy that should cover the majority of unhappy customers.

The manufacturers do not provide the individual ingredient quantities used on the ingredients list, as they use a proprietary formula. This means that it is difficult to establish the strength and effectiveness of the product, as well as to establish the likelihood of any side effects occurring.

The customer reviews are generally positive, but there were several reports of side effects, especially vomiting. Customers appear to prefer the orange flavour to the fruit punch flavour, which has been described as horrible.

Epiq Power does not seem to be hugely effective as a weight loss aid, but it could be a good pre-workout supplement to help boost energy levels and improve the consumer’s performance in the gym. Overall, we do not recommend Epiq Power to our readers.

What Are The Ingredients of Epiq Power?

The ingredients used in Epiq Power are detailed below. The ingredient quantities provided are per serving of a single scoop of the powder. Not all of the individual ingredient quantities are listed, however, as the product contains a proprietary formula. Each serving contains 20 calories.

  • Beta-alanine (as Carnosyn®) 1,000 mg: An amino acid that may improve athletic performance.

  • Pump Forcer 1,210 mg

  • Taurine: Used often in energy drinks, some studies suggest that this amino acid may play a role in athletic performance, meaning that it is only useful for dieters who exercise. There is no link between Taurine and weight loss known at this time.

  • Quercetin: a type of antioxidant. May have benefits for general health, as well as reducing blood pressure in people who have hypertension.
    Source: https://umm.edu/health/quercetin
  • Beet root powder (as Beta vulgaris)Supplying nitrates: May decrease blood pressure. High in nitrates, and so is thought to indirectly improve physical performance. There is some limited clinical evidence following small trials with athletes.

  • Grape seed extract (as Vitis vinifera) Supplying resveratrol: Resveratrol is a type of polyphenol, an antioxidant, which is found naturally in the skin of red grapes, as well as some other plant sources. Resveratrol has been found to help prevent insulin resistance, and so indirectly could have implications for weight loss in some patients. However, as yet this has not been confirmed conclusively through clinical trials. It is thought that antioxidants in general promote general health and wellness.

  • Caffeine anhydrous (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine) Supplying 190mg caffeine: Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive.

  • N-acetyl L-tyrosine: Some people use L-Tyrosine as an appetite suppressant, but there is little clinical evidence that it is effective for this use. Large doses of tyrosine may be useful for increasing alertness, especially in people who are sleep deprived.

Does Epiq Power Have Any Side Effects?

There are numerous ingredients present in Epiq Power that could potentially cause a range of side effects.

If consumers are taking the highest daily dose of two scoops of powder, then they are consuming 380 mg of caffeine from this supplement alone; this is a significant dose and so consumers should avoid other sources of caffeine whilst taking this product, including tea, coffee, energy drinks and many soft drinks, as well as other weight loss supplements. Side effects of caffeine can include headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness and insomnia.

Tyrosine is generally well tolerated but can cause some side effects such as nausea, headache, fatigue, heartburn, and joint pain.

The nitrates found in Beetroot may lower blood pressure, and should not be combined with any medications that are intended to lower blood pressure. Resveratrol may slow blood clotting.

Agmatine can cause stomach issues, including diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting, even at low doses.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Epiq Power?

There are several customer reviews for Epiq Power on bodybuilding.com and A1 supplements, two websites that sell the supplement.

I was sort of hoping for a more “orange cream” taste but I still enjoy the citrus orange taste. Great pre workout, felt power and every time I take this product I receive a great pump.

This is one of my most favorite supplements I have found to this day. Only on account of its wonderful taste and its natural attraction. It has properties that no one cares to look into , but i seen the figures online and on the Label. I would choose this company every time if I had the extra cash in the bank.! Believe Me this is more than grab n go kinda thing, This products makes you mind tingle and twerk a little lets say so you Have preperation minutes before a good work out, Fun to pump with, Is what I’d say. and it tasted great in all flavors ., plus I think the Army might have a little taste tester in their Fort Lee division , hahaha, everytime, later on Players!

nice flavor and excellent recovery

This product rocks! I get an amazing pump from this preworkout!

This is an insane deal. Great for energy and power. One scoop usually does the trick for me, I don’t like to overdo the caffeine, but for stim junkies 2 scoops would be perfect and still a great deal. Taste is fine, no aftertaste, not too sweet. Highly recommend.

This products have all the ingredients that say it have. You get energy, pumps, and focus, the flavor is not too good, but the product work excellent for a new and experienced user.

Epic Power contains power mix of pure waterless caffeine for increase in thermogenesis and continued energy, a pumping complex and a matrix of ultra-pure HCl and CarnoSyn creatine with beta-alanine.
At application, beta-alanine and caffeine is felt, skin slightly pricks. Energy is enough for me for all training, but I didn’t notice any special pumping of muscles.Well is suitable both for cardio and for power training.

Gives me some energy, but after 45 minutes to an hour I start yawning and so tired , worst crash ever, never experience it with any other preworkout. And other side effect is cramps and stomach pain, ahhh and nauseas, I cant take it anymore is just too many side effects. Not worth it for me but everybody is different.

As soon as I tasted this I almost got sick 🙁 I didn’t even drink it all. I went to the gym and almost passed out and couldn’t finish my workout. When I got home I threw up! Never using this product again.

Went to buy craze but was told this was comparable. That was a lie this product didn’t give me energy it taste bad and doesn’t mix well. If you are looking for a pre-workout stay clear from this one. I’m going to return this to GNC and get my money back this is why I only buy on amazon not GNC because of the people who review products.
