Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Overview

What You Need To Know About Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is a fat burning supplement designed to support weight loss and mental and physical energy, and make you euphoric along the way. However, it seems unlikely to work in the way as described and according to customers, unpleasant side effects are a problem.

FireStarter is sold in a bottle of 45 capsules with a serving being one capsule daily. The ingredients include Niacin/B6/B12, Chromium, Caffeine Anhydrous, Panthergy, TeaCrine, Yohimbe Bark Extract, Alpha-Lipoic-Acid (ALA), 3, 5 Diiodo-L-Thyronine, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12.

What Are The Side Effects Of Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter?

The bulk of the ingredients are grouped together in a proprietary blend so it is impossible to gauge the full effects but the ingredients have been known to cause rapid heart rate, increased blood pressure, dizziness, flushing, tremor, sweating, headaches, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, and insomnia.

The supplement contains Yohimbine which, as well as increasing heart rate and blood pressure, might increase the effects of prescription medication including MAOIs. This could be extremely dangerous for some users.

This supplement also contains a fairly unknown chemical compound called N-Methylpentyl-Iminoglutaric Acid under the brand name Panthergy. There is very little information available about this possible stimulant, so you do need to be aware of this and discontinue use if you experience adverse reactions.

How Much Does Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Cost?

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is expensive. One bottle of FireStarter contains 45 servings, enough for 45 days, although you can choose to take two daily.

The bottle costs $49.99, or $1.11 a day if you use as recommended.

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is available from the Atomic Strength website and appears to be only available in the USA

You can find it on Amazon USA and occasionally eBay, but prices seem to vary greatly. There are many fat burners on the market and Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is not the cheapest by a long way.

Our Verdict On Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter

We have real concerns about FireStarter. This supplement contains unknown quantities of ingredients, including Yohimbe which is dangerous and also Panthergy, which is a branded product showing up in stimulant fat burners like this but lacking any real information about effects or side effects. This could be a risk to health and it is important to remember that the supplements industry is unregulated and just because a product is openly on sale, does not mean it is safe.

That said in our opinion, FireStarter is unlikely to live up to the claims anyway. It is supposed to promote a laser type focus but instead many customers have mentioned jitteriness and headaches. And at $49.95, it is also unlikely that you will get a euphoric feeling from it unless emptying your wallet or purse makes you euphoric

Overall, we don’t believe that this supplement is effective or safe enough to approve. We do not recommend Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter to the Watchdog readers.

Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Key Features

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is a thermogenic fat burner supplement, meaning that it contains ingredients that will help to increase the metabolism and raise body temperature helping you to burn off calories more efficiently. The FireStarter supplement also promises added bonuses of increased energy and mental focus without the jitters.

The bulk of the ingredients are combined in a proprietary blend called FireStarter Brew. This means that although you can see what’s in the supplement, there is no clue as to the amounts of each ingredient.

How to Take Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter

  • The label advises to take 1 capsule in the morning with food and not to exceed 2 capsules daily

Atomic Strength FireStarter will make you sweat, which is what thermogenic fat burners are supposed to do because they cause a rise in body temperature. The active ingredient here is probably Anhydrous Caffeine, an extremely intense dried coffee where one teaspoon can be equivalent to 28 cups of coffee. This does make it hard for us to understand how it won’t give you the jitters.

Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Concerns:

  • Yohimbine might affect the body in some of the same ways as some medications for depression called MAOIs. Taking Yohimbe along with MAOIs might increase the effects and side effects of these ingredients. Some of these medications used for depression include phenelzine (Nardil), tranylcypromine (Parnate), and others and should not be taken with Yohimbe.
  • What is Panthergy? There is no adequate information about this branded supplement?
  • Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor before use if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking prescription medication.

FireStarter is manufactured by Atomic Strength Nutrition, a US company who also offer lots of different supplements and products for weight loss and bodybuilding. FireStarter is priced at $49.99 a bottle which makes it expensive for a fat burning supplement, so it may pay you to shop around.

What Does Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Claim To Do?

According to the advertising,

“FireStarter is a high intensity fat burner, unmatched by any other product on the market.”

The key features are as follows:

  • Provide laser mental focus & intense energy
  • Promote an intense surge of energy
  • Increase metabolic rate & supercharge fat burn
  • B6/B12 for sustained energy all day long
  • Oxidize fat
  • No crash or jitters

The side effects made us laugh.

“WARNING: Side effects may include Rapid Weight Loss, Prolonged Intense Energy and Euphoric Feeling.”

This is not a warning; it is a powerful part of the advertising!

Does Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Work?

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter may help you to lose weight when used as part of a calorie controlled diet and work out plan.

It contains some vitamins and chromium which will make your body muscles heal a bit faster after working out. Niacin, B6/12 vitamins, and chromium are all variations on the same theme, but can help with protein storage, form haemoglobin that carries oxygen around the body, and keep the nervous system and skin healthy. Although, the level of B12 at 1667% daily value looks like overkill!

The main problem with FireStarter is the inclusion of Yohimbe bark which, while it does increase blood flow, also has some nasty side effect and interactions with other drugs.

Panthergy is difficult to define as some people think this is a Glutamic acid while others think it is a banned substance, and it is hard to predict exactly what it will do, if anything at all.

What Are The Ingredients of Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter?

Serving size is equal to one capsule.

  • Niacin/B6/B12 (20mg): Niacin is an essential B-vitamin. Supplementation results in improved cholesterol and triglyceride levels. However, since a side-effect of supplementation is increased insulin resistance, niacin supplementation only provides benefits for cardiovascular health if precautions are taken.
  • Vitamin B6: (4mg): Allows the body to use and store energy from protein and carbohydrates in food. Vitamin B6 also helps form haemoglobin – the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body.
  • Vitamin B12: (100mcg): Cobalamin (more commonly referred to as Vitamin B12) is an essential vitamin. B12 is an important vitamin especially for older individuals and vegans because it is involved as an enzyme cofactor of both DNA synthesis and energy production.
  • Chromium: (175mcg): This mineral is an essential part of metabolic processes that regulate blood sugar; Chromium helps to transport blood sugar – where it can then be used to provide energy. Supplementing more chromium than the body needs does not produce reliable results, but it may be associated with minor benefits to diabetics.

FIRESTARTER BREW (638mg)

  • Anhydrous Caffeine (100mg) Caffeine is such an effective stimulant that many people are using a highly concentrated caffeine powder, or caffeine anhydrous, to stimulate athletic performance or weight loss. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a teaspoon of caffeine powder is the equivalent of 28 cups of coffee.
  • Panthergy N-Methylpentyl-iminoglutaric acid: Difficult to define as some people think this is a glutamic acid while others think this is a banned substance. No one seems to know for sure what this is because of the trademark confusion. It is most likely a glutamic acid, a non-essential amino acid naturally occurring in the L-form. Glutamic acid is the most common excitatory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system.
  • Sulbutiamine: Man-made chemical similar to the B vitamin thiamine. Unlike thiamine, which dissolves in water, sulbutiamine dissolves in fats. Sulbutiamine is able to increase thiamine levels in the brain and thought to be used as a stimulant in athletes. A small number of people taking sulbutiamine have reported nausea, headache, tiredness, and inability to sleep.
  • Theacrine as TeaCrine: Theacrine seems to affect the brain similar to caffeine. Like caffeine, theacrine stimulates the central nervous system at higher doses and decreases central nervous system activity at lower doses. But unlike caffeine, theacrine does not seem to affect blood pressure.
  • Yohimbe Bark Extract: A natural supplement that has been shown to raise blood energy, increase circulation and overall energy. Yohimbe is taken by mouth arouse sexual excitement, for erectile dysfunction (ED), sexual problems caused by medications for depression called selective-serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is also used for athletic performance, weight loss, exhaustion, chest pain, high blood pressure, low blood pressure that occurs when standing up, diabetic nerve pain, and for depression along with certain other medications.
  • Alpha-Lipoic-Acid (ALA): An antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound that protects the brain and can help with weight loss. Alpha-lipoic acid seems to help prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, which means that it might provide protection to the brain under conditions of damage or injury. It also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C. There is also evidence that alpha-lipoic acid can improve the function and conduction of neurons in diabetes, so its antioxidant effects might also be helpful in certain liver diseases.
  • 3, 5 Diiodo-L-Thyronine: This thyroid hormone is used to improve metabolic function and decrease body fat. Some animal and test tube research suggests that diiodothyronine might speed up metabolism and reduce fat storage. But as most research has been carried out on animals no one knows if diiodothyronine has these effects on people.
  • Other Ingredients Gelatin, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Rice Flour, Calcium Silicate, Maltodextrin, Titanium Oxide, Colorings.

  • Flushing
  • Tremor
  • Sweating

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter?

There are quite a lot of Amazon reviews for Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter, and these should give you an idea of what others think about this product.

Very strong fat burner but man does it work. In a week I saw a difference. I definitely recommend but make sure you eat something solid before taking the pill. From time to time it would make me a bit jittery. I also noticed I was nauseous which was fine for me because I didn’t crave anything to eat

I started taking FireStarter last week, the first day I didn’t notice much of anything. The second day I felt so energized I could not stay still. I also noticed I was a little nauseous which was fine for me because I didn’t crave anything to eat. I work two jobs and the energy this pill gives me is amazing. The only thing that I don’t like is insomnia, but if you need energy to motivate you to move I recommend FireStarter.

I tried taking this for 2 days so 2 pills. I honestly felt like I was on some weird drug. I couldn’t control my appetite. I couldn’t focus to save my life. My hands were shaking and I was itchy and sweaty. I had to stop working and go lay down until it went away which wasn’t for hours. I did exactly what the instructions said so it’s not like I was stupid and took this on an empty stomach or anything like that. It may be different for other people, in fact it must be because I bought this product due to the amazing reviews it has. It just wasn’t a good fit for me I guess.

Does Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

There seems to be a money back guarantee on offer but on closer inspection, this is not as good as it seems. The 90-day money-back guarantee covers only unopened bottles, so is not more than a standard returns policy. If you are awarded a refund, it will not include the return shipping prices.

Where Can I Buy Atomic Strength Nutrition Firestarter?

You can buy Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter from the official product website where the company claim they will ship worldwide via UPS, however it is hard to find the details of the price for this. The company does not pay any customs charges, and you will be responsible for any extra charge imposed by the laws of the country that it is shipped to.

Atomic Strength Nutrition FireStarter is currently only for sale online. It can be purchased from the official website as well as Amazon USA, and occasionally it can be found on eBay.
