In this review, we look at whether this pre-workout supplement is safe, and whether it actually works. We don’t want you to spend your hard earned cash on something that is going to have no effect. Keep reading to see what we think, and whether we recommend it.
ApexXx Zeus Thermogenic Compound is a UK manufactured thermogenic weight loss and pre-workout supplement made by ApexXx Nutrition, in London. It is designed to help users get a boost of energy for their workout, whilst giving them a boost to their metabolism and burn fat. It comes in capsule form, which can be taken three times a day.
Citrus aurantium, also known as bitter orange, has some serious side effects. When taken by itself or in supplements with stimulants such as caffeine, as this one does, may increase the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects. There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches and migraines in some people.
Bladderwrack is another ingredient with some quite nasty side effects. It contains high levels of iodine, so when taken orally, this seaweed raises the risks of thyroid cancer or exacerbating other thyroid issues. It may also slow blood clotting and cause infertility.
There are also multiple sources of caffeine in this supplement, which can have adverse effects on those sensitive to it. These include disruption to sleep patterns, heart palpitations, increased heart rate, and jitteriness.
From the ApexXx Nutrition website, the supplement costs £25.49 for 90 capsules, which is a 30-day supply. This price includes shipping. On other supplement websites and on eBay, we have found it for sale at £29.99.
We really don’t like this supplement. Whilst green tea, taurine, and caffeine are all perfectly safe for most people, and are found in most pre-workout supplements, they’re not the most effective of ingredients for fat burning. Other ingredients in there have some really serious side effects – bitter orange is banned by some college associations. There are many more products out there that will give you energy for a workout and burn fat without the risk to your health.
We’re a little bit confused about the usage instructions as well. It tells you to take them three times a day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also tells you to take them 30 minutes before a workout, with or without a meal.
Like we have mentioned in other ApexXx product reviews, a big problem we have is the lack of customer reviews and testimonials that we can trust. It’s quite obvious that when a company starts to offer incentives and discounts to people who leave reviews, it is going to open itself up to a lot of reviews that may not be entirely truthful. Even worse, as ApexXx Nutrition offers no money-back guarantee, you have no come back if you’re not happy with the product.
The level of professionalism of the company leaves a lot to be desired, judging by their website and social media. There is little in the way of information, and it is littered with spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. The Facebook page and Instagram page associated with the company appears to be only a few months old, and they have only recently started accepting credit and debit cards as payment.
With all of this taken into account, we do not recommend ApexXx Zeus Thermogenic Compound to our readers.
ApexXx Zeus Thermogenic Compound is a supplement made by ApexXx Nutrition designed to help users burn fat whilst maximising their workout. It contains various stimulants, such as caffeine, green tea, and bitter orange.
ApexXx Nutrition are a UK based company, with its offices in London. There is very little other information about who they are. On their contact page, there is an email address and their postal address. On their website they claim:
“We want to help you find your balance with the best Nutritional support, supplements and workouts to empower your mind and body”.
ApexXx claim that their product is a,
“unique blend of fat burning and post workout ingredients which work synergistically to enable you to consume one hour before training for a workout that no other fat burner on the market can give you”.
They also claim that the product has the following benefits:
It has several stimulants and sources of caffeine in, so it will undoubtedly give a boost of energy to the user. However, the effects on weight loss are likely to be very slight. We think that there are much more effective supplements out there to give you a kick start with fat burning.
The following quantities are per capsule

We can’t find any reviews online for the ApexXx Zeus Thermogenic Compound supplement. When we had a look at their Facebook page, which has some five-star reviews, we noticed that ApexXx had given at least one of their customers 10% off their next order for leaving a positive review. This leads us to question how much we can trust the reviews.
No. They state on their website that they do not offer refunds or returns for opened products.
This supplement is available to buy from the ApexXx Nutrition website, costing £29.49. It is also available for around £29.99 on other supplement websites, such as Gym Nutrition and from eBay.
