What You Need To Know About Animal Fury

Animal Fury is advertised as “a no-nonsense pre-workout powder keg that could help serious lifters stay locked in “the zone””. The supplement is designed to boost energy and focus levels, and to improve performance throughout your workout. Animal Fury contains a variety of BCAAs and amino acids to help support muscle mass gains, and citrulline malate and beta alanine to increase pump and power output. The extra energy comes from the incredibly large dose of caffeine that has been added.

The supplement comes in a choice of flavours, including lemonade, blue raspberry, fruit punch, green apple, orange, and watermelon.

What Are The Side Effects Of Animal Fury?

There are numerous ingredients found in Animal Fury that could potentially cause a range of side effects.

There is a huge dosage of caffeine in each serving of this supplement, 350 mg! Consuming large quantities of caffeine can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.

BCAA can affect blood sugar levels, and so diabetics should consult their doctor before taking this supplement. Citrulline Malate can cause an upset stomach in some people, but this is less likely if taken on an empty stomach. Citrulline can increase Nitric Oxide levels and this can, in turn, lower blood pressure.

The most common side effect of Beta Alanine is a tingling sensation in the muscles; many consider this a sign that the Beta-alanine is working, and as evidence that the supplement is indeed correctly dosed. Some people may dislike the tingling sensation, but it is not a sign of anything negative or more serious. Flushing is also a side effect caused by taking high doses of Beta-alanine.

How Much Does Animal Fury Cost?

From the official website, a 20 serving tub of Animal Fury costs $24.95 plus delivery charges. A 30 serving tub of Animal Fury costs $31.95 plus delivery charges.

The product is also available from numerous third-party online retailers. From bodybuilding.com customers can purchase a sample size of five servings for $6.99 plus delivery charges. A tub of 20 servings costs $22.99 and a tub of 30 servings costs $29.99. Delivery charges also apply.

The Supplement Store, a UK website, charges £24.99 for a 20 serving tub (320 g) and £32.49 for a 30 serving tub (480 g). Delivery charges also apply.

A1 Supplements charge $4.99 for a 5 serving sample, and $29.99 for a 30 serving tub. Delivery charges also apply. iHerb charge £19.05 for a 20 serving tub, and offer progressive discounts for bulk purchases. Delivery charges may also apply.

Our Verdict On Animal Fury

We have a mixed opinion of Animal Fury; there are numerous individual elements of the Animal Fury formula that we do like, but the high caffeine content of this supplement is a huge issue. Each serving contains 350 mg of caffeine, which is about the same as that found in three large coffees, or three and a half regular coffees! While your body may be able to handle three coffees spread over the day, taking this large dosage of caffeine all at once is far more likely to cause side effects!

We really like that there is an option (from some retailers) to purchase a five sample serving of Animal Fury. If you do want to order this product, we do recommend trying the sample first, before ordering a larger tub.

Customers can choose from a range of flavours. Most are well received by customers, but there are lots of negative reviews of the Watermelon flavour, which apparently tastes the most artificial and “chemically”. The orange flavour is also reportedly sour, but still tasty if you like sourness in general.

The returns policy offered by the manufacturers of Animal Fury is incredibly comprehensive; purchases made on the official website are covered by a lifetime money-back guarantee. Unlike many other manufacturers, they also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee which covers any of their supplements purchased through third-party retailers. This guarantee is incredibly rare within the supplement industry!

Overall, we do not recommend Animal Fury to our readers.

What Does Animal Fury Claim To Do?

Many supplement sellers provide a list of the benefits that their supplement provides, but the official sales page for Animal Fury is heavy on marketing speak. Customers really have to read through the hype about how great the product is to get an idea of what the product is actually supposed to do.

We set out to design a no-nonsense pre-workout powder keg that could help serious lifters stay locked in “the zone”. Combining proven pre-training staples like Citrulline Malate, Beta Alanine, L-Tyrosine and Caffeine Anhydrous all in efficacious doses with a whopping five grams of Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA), every scoop of Animal Fury packs one hell of a muscle-building punch. Performance. Focus. Energy. That hits hard. No bullshit. And utilizing no proprietary blends, you can rest assured that you know exactly what you’re getting in each loaded shaker cup of Fury.

Essentially the product is formulated to boost energy levels, improve performance during exercise, and boost mental focus.

Does Animal Fury Work?

Given the high caffeine content found in this supplement, Animal Fury will undoubtedly give customers a huge burst of jittery energy. The inclusion of citrulline malate and beta alanine should work well to provide greater power output and endurance, and the increased Nitric Oxide production provided by these ingredients should result in a greater flow of blood to the muscles during workouts.

The use of BCAAs and other amino acids could help to maximise lean muscle mass gains, helping to provide the body with the amino acids it needs to fuel and build muscle.

What Are The Ingredients of Animal Fury?

The ingredients found in Animal Fury are detailed below. The ingredient quantities provided are per serving of a single scoop (16.53 g).

  • Instant BCAA Blend (Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine) 5000 mg: Branched-chain amino acids are used by the body as a building block of protein, which is what muscle is made from. Supplementing Branch Chain Amino Acids in adequate quantities in combination with muscle-building exercise will help to build muscle mass. It may also help to prevent fatigue in novice athletes. Source
  • L-Leucine: An essential branched-chain amino acid which stimulates protein synthesis in the body, and is used as a building block for muscle. Whilst dieting, supplementing Leucine could help to maintain muscle mass whilst still losing fat mass, as it is used to help fuel muscle.
  • L-Valine: Valine appears to be the least potent of the branched-chain amino acids, but will still play a small role in stimulating protein synthesis and promoting glucose consumption and uptake. Source
  • L-Isoleucine: Isoleucine appears to promote glucose consumption and uptake. It also plays a role in inducing muscle protein synthesis (although it is not as strong as Leucine). Source
  • Citrulline Malate 6000 mg: L-Citrulline is thought to increase l-arginine levels in the body, which in turn widens the blood vessels and increases blood flow to the muscles. Source
  • Beta Alanine 2000 mg: Beta alanine has been repeatedly proven to raise the levels of muscle carnosine in the human body, which has the effect of increasing the amount of work athletes can perform in high-intensity workouts. Its use is accompanied by a distinctive “tingling” sensation in the muscles. Source
  • L-Tyrosine 1000 mg: An amino acid that is a building block of protein, this ingredient is found naturally in many foods including meat and dairy products. In existing trials, L-Tyrosine appears to effectively improve cognition and memory during stressful periods. Source
  • Caffeine Anhydrous 350 mg: Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism, causing a small increase in the number of calories used by the body. The weight loss effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive. Source

Does Animal Fury Have Any Side Effects?

There are numerous ingredients found in Animal Fury that could potentially cause a range of side effects.

There is a huge dosage of caffeine in each serving of this supplement, 350 mg! This is about the same as that found in three large coffees, or three and a half regular coffees! While your body may be able to handle three coffees spread over the day, taking this large dosage of caffeine all at once is far more likely to cause side effects! Consuming large quantities of caffeine can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.

Side effects associated with BCAA are rare and are usually not serious. They can include nausea, pain, and headaches.

This means that this supplement is unlikely to be suitable for anyone who already has low blood pressure, or who are taking medications that affect blood pressure.

Although Tyrosine is tolerated generally in very high doses, it can cause some side effects including nausea, headache, fatigue, heartburn, and joint pain.

Flushing is also a side effect caused by taking high doses of Beta alanine.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Animal Fury?

There are lots of customer reviews for this supplement on Bodybuilding.com. Many of the customer reviews appear to have been left by customers who received a free five serving sample when purchasing other products from the Universal Nutrition/Animal range of supplements. Comments regarding taste are mixed, but Watermelon appears to be the most artificial tasting and most poorly received. Reviews also suggest that the Green Apple flavour is sour, but overall well-liked.

I’ve always been a fan of Universal’s supplements. I received a 5 serving sample with my Animal Flex . I must say this pw exceeded my expectations. The energy was as expected , but the pump and laser focus was what made this a solid 9 . Good job Universal and thanks for the sample . Would recommend to others

I just got off 2.5 hours workout, tried this product for the first time, I raged like a machine, did 5 exercises of back, back to back without rest 4 sets and then another 6 exercises of shoulders back to back without rest 4 sets, tried to maintain 10 to 15 reps reasonable weight, and then another abs circuit of 3 exercises 4 sets and for desert 30 minutes jogging of 5K ,came out not tired at all and I am 43 years old, if you ask me tha’t definitely have anything to do with animal fury, I didn’t have that energy before I used this product, though you must have it exactly 30 minutes before workout try the orange flavor it’s delicious like hell, strongly recommend this product try to combine it with post workout immediately after workout

Not a fan. In my opinion I felt like this pre relies on its caffeine content too much. If you have a low caffeine tolerance you might like it more.

Got the free 5 dose sample with Animal Flex…Nice energy boost and the Green Apple flavor is fun! I’m getting a lot more than 5 servings out the sample because a half-serving is plenty for my workouts. I tried upping it closer to a full serving and it was too much for me. I get the effects almost immediately, but they don’t last as long as I expected. I’m better off taking it right before working out vs the 30 min recommendation.

I found the amount of caffeine for me personally too strong. I like having about 100mg of caffeine with any of my preworkouts. If you want an intense preworkout though this would be the one to get. It is ANIMAL for sure.

I got this free with protein I ordered. Thankfully it was free. I really would have been disappointed had paid for it. It did absolutely nothing for me. There’s better options out there so don’t waste your time with this one.

Great product! I take some right before my workout or 30 minutes prior. Gives me enough energy to be excited to workout without having the jitters that C4 gives. Really like how it helps you stay focused throughout the workout. The Orange tastes amazing and I highly recommend trying that flavor first while they still make it. My only complaint so far is that I lose energy half way through my workout so I have to take BCAA’s to get through the rest of my workout. I generally workout 2 hours though so I’m not surprised that it doesn’t last that long. The best benefit is I’ve taken this preworkout at 7 p.m. and had no problem going to sleep at 11 p.m. definitely will buy this again

9 Orange
9 Green Apple
4 Watermelon
Good clean energy. Very few ingredients but all u really need. Had sample of watermelon but tasted like rind. Didn’t know they had lemonade so excited to try

Does Animal Fury Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

The manufacturers of Animal Fury offer a two-tier returns policy; they offer a “lifetime” “Animal Ironclad Guarantee” when purchasing directly from their webstore. Unlike many other manufacturers, they also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee which covers any of their supplements purchased through third-party retailers. This guarantee is incredibly rare within the supplement industry!

They state:

Animal is dedicated to being the very best. That’s why we stand behind every single pill, every powder, and every single Animal “pack” we make. If you bought a product from any of our retailers and it has not met with your tough requirements for any reason, we offer an industry-leading 30-day 100% “no-questions-asked” guarantee.

For all orders placed exclusively at The Shop at Animalpak.com, we offer something even better: our “Animal Ironclad Guarantee”. This is an exclusive “lifetime” guarantee which applies to all of our Animal pack products. Just return the product to us along with the original receipt and we’ll send you an exchange or refund. For details on both guarantees, contact us at [email protected]

The returns policies of third-party retailers may vary. Bodybuilding.com, who also sells the supplement, have a comprehensive returns policy, often offering store credit if a full refund is unavailable.

Where Can I Buy Animal Fury?

Pricing is not hugely clear on Animalpak.com. There are two different sizes of tub available, one containing 20 servings and the other containing 30 servings. The price of a 20 serving tub is listed on the website, and customers can click on the drop-down serving size box to choose a 30 serving tub, which increases the price of the product.
